Adult Basic Education is part of the Highland Council's Education, Culture and Sport Service. It provides free, confidential tuition on a one-to-one or small group basis.

Adult Basic Education helps people improve their literacy, numeracy and information literacy skills, and encourages personal confidence and lifelong learning. This includes working with people who speak English as a second language.
