Many literacy organisations - both nationally and internationally
- now have their own websites. As use of the Internet becomes more
commonplace, and research suggests growth of use by adults in the
UK is one of the highest of any country, it provides a useful tool
in raising awareness of literacy issues and informing colleagues,
and those interested in this area, of developments taking place.

featured on the site will be subject to the Data Protection Act. Data
will be maintained in keeping with the Data Protection Act and will
not be passed on or sold to any other organisation without the permission
of the person concerned, unless it is a legal requirement.

only be published when written permission to do so has been obtained.

Wherever possible group shots will be used on the website, rather
than photographs of individuals.

number) will be published on the website.
